Our senior specialists don’t stop learning. Instead, they engage in a long-term, self-directed journey designed to deepen their expertise in areas they care most about. Here’s a glimpse into that journey from Regina Morris.
This quarter, as a Master Practitioner in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), I focused on deepening my application of it in training and coaching. In the process, I realised the importance of refreshing my NLP knowledge and skills in classroom facilitation.
One pivotal moment came during a training session at our weekly Community of Practice. It fell flat because I hadn’t properly analysed the audience. That experience drove home a key lesson: expertise alone isn’t enough – alignment with the audience is non-negotiable, and I have the tools to do that with NLP Metaprogrammes.

In contrast, applying NLP Metaprogrammes while coaching senior managers in presentation skills was deeply rewarding. By adapting language and presence to suit the audience, I saw stronger engagement and high NPS scores. Staying responsive, and grounded in NLP principles, also helped to build connection and credibility. My focus now is to structure my learning more intentionally, sharpen my executive presence, and capture how NLP directly improves outcomes. This journey has had its bumps – but it’s also affirmed the value of continuous, reflective growth.
