Terry Netto
Co-founder and CEO of People Potential
During this period, People Potential’s clients expanded to include large corporations and financial institutions across Asia, with occasional engagements in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa. Since 2018, People Potential has won over 30 HR and L&D awards in Malaysia and Singapore.
Over the years, he has facilitated workshops in cities like New York (Wall Street), London, Frankfurt, Beijing, Hyderabad, Shanghai, Singapore, and Hong Kong. He has also presented at or moderated panel discussions at conferences and L&D events in Australia, Bahrain, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, and Switzerland.
Terry stopped classroom delivery at the end of 2024. Most of his work now is about evolving the firm’s structure, core competencies, and strategies in the face of AI and digitalisation, which includes conceptualising and designing new Leadership Development interventions. He is also actively mentoring the next generation of People Potential’s leaders.
Academic Background
Terry has a background in Philosophy, Psychology, Learning & Development, Civilisational Studies, and Business Administration. He also has a Master Practitioner Certification in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) from the United States.
Community Involvement
Terry has served in several voluntary organisations, including the Executive Committees of Mensa Malaysia and the Malaysian Society for Training and Development. His community projects have primarily been with international NGOs like WWF (Worldwide Fund for Nature), and IofC (Initiatives of Change).
