"Did posters teaching recently (my first
time), I did not create a single poster, they did about 40 posters
in two days. Wa-la, they told me was their greatest learning so
far! I just completed 3 days of new managers training, used many
tools 'collected' from Transforming Trainers. Wonderful! About
posters teaching, I modified what was learned and was not about
doing posters. A technical course, participants (90% kenesthetic)
wrote about 40 operational procedures. Asked them to put it up,
participants walked around posters & wrote down observations
and questions. I posed questions like 'Why', 'Interesting', 'How
come?' etc. WA-LA! Great learning! Most importantly, very
practical for them to use. Wow! Almost turned around how I taught
a class, I spoke 20% and they did 80%. Guess what, they learned
more."
